How This Kitchen Cooker Became My Best Friend

This kitchen cooker has saved us time, money, and energy. It started in December, 2018 when this gift arrived. I never thought it would mean so much to my husband and me. It’s improved our efficiency.

What is this gift? It was an Instant Pot, a quick and easy type of kitchen cooker. Why do we love it so much?

We’ve cooked a variety of foods in it, including: veggies, rice, quinoa, beans, soups (Thai corn chowder is my favorite), chutneys, applesauce and other cooked fruits. You can also cook chicken, meat, and fish in it. You are able to cook a main dish including protein, grain, and veggies all at once. Another option is to layer different dishes and cook them separately but at the same time. I haven’t tried this one yet, but may venture forth and experiment in the future.

One small drawback is that the instruction booklet for this kitchen cooker is limited. I solved it by going online and finding a lot of recipes and also YouTube instructions. There are also lots of Instant Pot cookbooks available and I have made several things from them.

I’d recommend getting the brand called Instant Pot. There are other companies selling a similar product, but I know this one works. They are available online and in stores, often at a discount.
