11 Mint Uses

If you love the cooling effect of mint, check out these 11 mint uses.

Here are some ways to use mint, which is so healthy and so plentiful in the summer.

  1. Chop up a few fresh leaves and add to summer fruit salad. Here are a few combo ideas: cantaloupe, cherries, green grapes / strawberries, blueberries, honeydew melon / strawberries, peaches, green grapes / honeydew and cantaoupe melons, cherries / mangoes, blueberries, raspberries. It’s also nice to add some dried or fresh grated coconut
  2. Add to a marinated cucumber salad. Cut up your cucumbers. Add salt and pepper, olive oil, wine vinegar, mint leaves, and cut scallions if desired.
  3. Chop up a few leaves and add to a tossed salad.
  4. Chop up a few leaves and add to your vinaigrette dressing.
  5. Add a couple of leaves to your smoothie.
  6. Chop up a few leaves and add to yogurt and berries.
  7. Put washed leaves in water in a glass jar. Put out in the sun for a few hours and voila — tasty sun tea.
  8. Put in a mug with hot water to make hot mint tea.
  9. Make popsicles with watermelon and mint.
  10. Add a few leaves to your water and sip during the day.
  11. Add a sprig to a summer drink.
