Uncovering Hidden Emotions

Are you struggling with weight loss, or achieving your goals in life? Do you have health challenges that aren’t improving such as sleep issues, pain, and an upset stomach? All of these problems can be related to unprocessed emotions that have been stored in the body. By using techniques such as hypnotism, visualization, EFT, and body work I help my clients quickly identify, process, and release painful emotions that are blocking their progress in losing weight, improving their health, or pursuing their desires in life. My goal is to help clients solve their problems with support in each session and to give them tools to navigate challenges independently. I approach each session in a very practical, systematic, caring, and intuitive way.

Learn the basics of both EFT tapping and meditation in one book. Tapping is a proven method to reduce or eliminate troubling emotions, stress, trauma, negative self-talks, and limiting beliefs about what you can and can’t do. Sometimes called ‘acupuncture without needles’, we tap on acupuncture points as we talk about all the aspects of the challenge we’re facing. Over time, this releases the symptoms as well as the underlying issue.

Once you get to a place of greater balance, it will be much easier to meditate. Meditation introduces you to yourself. With regular practice, you will find that your day goes much smoother, it is easier to focus and listen well to others, you stay more emotionally balanced, and you keep going to a quiet, serene place within yourself where you can recharge and experience deeper levels of your being. All it takes is a few minutes a day.

Client Comments About Carol

“I lost 21 lbs. in 8 weeks. The group helped me to heal my life. This was so much more than a diet or changing your eating habits. It was about changing yourself.”

“Making Weight Loss Easy should be something everyone gives to themselves as a gift for their health and well-being.   The techniques not only provide weight loss but also a better understanding of oneself… Carol is amazing and incredibly supportive and provides so many tools to help you meet your goal.”

Carol’s weight loss program has been effective for me because it is not a dietary regime.  Instead, it has provided me the tools I need to change my eating HABITS and to address the underlying emotional issues we all have that lead to unhealthy relationships with food.  I shed pounds because I shed the habits I didn’t want and replaced them with habits that cause me to enjoy what I eat and to be content eating only what my body wants and needs.  Her approach gives me the flexibility I need to meet the challenges of my daily life, including my occasional splurges.  Weight loss is far easier because I don’t have a strict diet and am not hungry all the time.  Self-hypnosis, tapping, food journaling, and other tools provide an array of techniques I can employ as needed.  Because I have permanently changed my habits and relationship to food, I don’t have to worry about gaining the weight back when I “go off my diet.”  Carol has been my relentlessly positive, affirming, and supportive partner in my weight loss efforts – 35 pounds and counting.  I recommend her highly!”

“I lost 21 lbs. in 14 weeks. I didn’t want to lose too fast so this was just right.”

“I lost half the weight I wanted to lose in 3 weeks.”

“Carol is gentle, nonjudgmental, understanding. She has a de-emphasis on pounds lost quickly. Emphasis is on awareness of eating habits, reasons behind those patterns…Carol uses a variety of helpful techniques to guide me in slowly becoming aware of and shifting the unhelpful rut I was in. I think this is a great path for lifelong healthy eating habits.”

“I have had better and more lasting success with Carol than Weight Watchers!!”

“EFT worked deep in my psyche to release a long-held false belief about weight loss. Through Carol’s coaching, I was able to break through this stumbling block and correct my thinking. I have lost ten pounds so far, and I am confident I can reach my goal this time. No counting calories, no measuring food amounts, no cumbersome tracking routine. It was an internal shift that pushed me toward success.”

“Carol has been a wonderful source of support and has been completely non-judgmental on my weight loss journey. Although I have had fluctuations, overall my weight loss has been steady and sustained.

“I like that Carol is so insightful, down to earth and realistic in her approach. She recognizes that the biggest and first change has to occur mentally first.”

“Best weight class I have ever attended because of Carol’s approach. Very supportive and encouraging. Plus shared lots of good tips.”

“Carol was patient, not judgmental. Lots of great suggestions for food options.”

“She keeps the group on track. Very professional, yet makes time for people to share. She’s very reassuring.”

In what ways has your health improved since the start of the group?
“Mental health has been boosted by the self-talk about having all the resources needed to prepare and eat nutritious foods every day.  Somehow, that constant reminder changes my mind’s narrative.

I’ve lost three pounds which doesn’t sound like much but I’ve been in the same 10 pound weight range for 40 years (minus pregnancy-related times) so I had been at the top of that range and now I’m closer to the middle and still hoping to get to the bottom of that range.”
